How to find my success and freedom at home

Covid has many of us at home but being at home doesn’t mean you have to give up on your success or freedom. Here are some tips we found to make your time at home the most productive and beneficial it can be.

Define it

What does your success or freedom look like? Is it time to work on your own projects or time to volunteer. Maybe it’s a certain amount of money, job or business. You first have to know what you’re looking for before you find it. Let us know how you define success in the comments below.

Get rid of distractions and negativity

Negativity and distractions are constant. It’s easy to get distracted and think negative. Positivity and focus must be practiced. Turn off your notifications, close your email and put your phone on silent. Take time for your success. If you are not intentional about how you spend your time this will lead to failure. Where is your distraction free space at home? An office, garage or shed can be a great space to get rid of distractions and negativity and focus on your success. For me, it’s my mobile office, aka my truck. I can sit quietly, plan and write blog posts and listen to positive songs and speeches all from my smartphone.

Structure systems and discipline

We’ve talked about being intentional with your time. It’s also important to use your time efficiently. Freedom and success are achieved through structure and discipline. Systems are put in place to increase efficiency leaving you time to focus on another aspect of your success or freedom. Think about how much longer it would take to achieve your success if you didn’t have access to email Internet social media etc. These are our tools that increase efficiency when used correctly.

Health and mindset

Don’t neglect your body and mind. Success and freedom is daunting. Intentional focus and striving towards a goal can take a toll on you physically and emotionally. to get to success faster it is also important to improve your body and mind it is much easier to continue toward success when your body and mind are in shape. Don’t over complicate this, you can easily exercise from home and use healthier ingredients when cooking from home, simplicity is important here. We don’t want this to become another distraction that takes away from your big goals.

We hope these tips will make your time at home with Covid better. This is a time to focus on the positive not the negative. You can choose to create your success no matter what the circumstance or you can choose to let circumstances dictate your life.
